Tone-Up Tuesdays!- HBCU Impact Week Edition
North African Dance
Rediscover an ancient dance form that embraces all ages and body types! Participants will embrace this art form from the top of their head all the way down to their toes. This body awareness increases a student’s knowledge of the healing benefits of belly dance. The cranium, thoracic, abdominal, back and pelvic region are connected to vital organs and powerful neural pathways…belly dance is known to have a profound healing effect on the body. With this detailed explanation of belly dance, the essence, elegance, and beauty of the art form is also passed on to each participant.
