Tour Dates: Sunday, November 8 to Friday, November 13, 2015

Rho Mu Omega believes in enhancing a child’s opportunity to attend an institution of higher learning, who otherwise may have not had the opportunity. Our college tour participants consisted of Washington Metropolitan area middle school and high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.  The students have an opportunity to visit with college administrators and admission representatives, tour the campuses and apply for admission during the campus visit. As a result of our anual college tour, students have been accepted to institutions such as, Johnson C. Smith University, Virginia State University, Norfolk State University, Tennessee State University and Hampton University.

Rho Mu Omega chapter in conjunction with DC Pearls III Foundation, Inc. awards  a minimum of four (4) General Scholarships at $2,000; one (1) Barbara P. Davis Scholarship in Education and one (1) Angela Ducker Richardson Memorial Scholarship in Health and Science. The Education Award amount will be a minimum of $500 and the Health and Science Award will be a minimum of $1,000.
The General Scholarships are awarded to a graduating senior from a District of Columbia High School and requires no specific major. The Education Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who will be majoring in Education. The Health and Science Award is awarded to a graduating senior who will be majoring in a health or science field. All graduating high school seniors must attend an HBCU.
